The ATPE Board of Directors met May 17–18 in Austin, and ATPE State President Jayne Serna shares news from this meeting in the latest episode of The President’s Podcast. In May, the board approved ATPE’s budget for the 2024-25 membership year, and Jayne and ATPE Executive Director Shannon Holmes discuss what considerations go into board approval of a budget of this magnitude. In addition, Jayne recaps the board’s preparation for the annual ATPE House of Delegates (HOD) Meeting, which will take place July 9 during the 2024 ATPE Summit at the Sheraton Dallas. One of the highlights of the upcoming HOD meeting will be consideration of the 2024-25 ATPE Legislative Program, which the members on the ATPE Legislative Committee have spent the past year reorganizing.
